(JOHNSTON, IA) — Fareway Stores, Inc. is proud to announce several office promotions within its corporate office, recognizing outstanding leadership and contributions to the company’s continued success. 

  • Jeff Dighton has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Finance and Treasurer, previously serving as Vice President of Finance and Treasurer. Dighton joined Fareway in 2010. 

  • Roxanne Kanne-Roush has advanced to Senior Vice President, Training & Development, from her prior role as Vice President of Training and Development. Kanne-Roush joined Fareway in 2009. 

  • Roger Wirtz has been named Vice President, Northern Region, after serving as Regional Supervisor. Wirtz joined Fareway in 1983. 

  • Mark DeYoung has been promoted to Vice President, Retail Construction and Maintenance, previously Senior Director of Retail Design. DeYoung joined Fareway in 2021. 

  • Zach Lane has advanced to Vice President, Retail Systems, from his former position as Director of Retail Systems. Lane joined Fareway in 2008. 

  • Jeff Boggess has been named Vice President, Facilities & Maintenance, previously Senior Director of Facilities & Maintenance. Boggess joined Fareway in 2009. 

  • Taylor Blanchard has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Marketing, after serving as Senior Director of Marketing. Blanchard joined Fareway in 2025.
