We love our ongoing partnership with Fareway in support of Blank Children's Festival of Trees & Lights. The support of the Fareway Food Court with in-kind donations makes it possible for us to raise more money to support the Child Life Program and the Center of Advocacy and Outreach. Fareway's help is critical in making the event such a success. We appreciate their dedication to our community.

Our partnership with Fareway comes from a place of love and generosity. For nearly a decade, Fareway has supported our mission to partner with families to help children with special healthcare needs live a great life through a variety of ways. This includes support of our fundraising events, Bubble Ball, Golf FORE the Kids and Launch & Learn; and even a ChildServe-branded semi wrap! Fareway’s impact has touched the lives of thousands of Iowa children through our respite program, autism services, state-of-the-art equipment, and many other programs and services. We are eternally grateful for Fareway’s commitment to lead with love.

The Iowa Wave Shirt is so thankful for the support of Fareway through our Iowa vs. Iowa State rivalry campaign in-stores and through employee participation in Lead with Love Iowa Wave Shirts. The Lead with Love philanthropic platform embodies Fareway’s commitment to the community and we are so proud to partner - showing the kids at the Univeristy of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital that no matter what team you cheer for, Iowans across the state Fight Together!

We consider our partners at Fareway our extended family at the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). For 30 years, the commitment and generosity of Fareway has supported our mission to fund research, care, and advocacy to serve our families in local communities in Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota, Illinois, Nebraska, and Missouri. Fareway’s Lead with Love partners with our iconic annual MDA Shamrocks Round Up campaign, and the Fareway MDA Golf Classic, raising over $450,000 each year, and enhancing the lives of families living with muscular dystrophy, ALS and related neuromuscular diseases. This partnership is leading to scientific breakthroughs including 15 new treatments in just the past 7 years, and we could not have made this progress, providing hope for so many, without Fareway’s support.

The support we receive from Fareway comes in many forms. Not only from the corporate level, but also through employee participation. Both of which are critical to the services we provide to families staying at the RMH. As a non-profit organization the opportunity to receive support through their professional staff is critical to our success. Fareway is a true community partner and we are so grateful for their commitment.

We are so grateful for our wonderful friends at Fareway. I was introduced to CEO Reynolds Cramer a few years ago, and was touched that he spent so much time visiting with me about our mission and the kids and families we serve.
