Maple Sausage Dippers

These Maple Sausage Dippers from the Iowa Pork Producers are that perfect blend of savory and sweet with the addition of cinnamon and sugar!

Maple Sausage Dippers

  • 1 tube crescent rolls
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar cinnamon cream cheese (or plain)
  • 8 pre-cooked maple breakfast sausage links (or original)
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • for dipping maple syrup

Directions

1. Open the tube of crescent rolls and tear each triangle apart at the perforations

2. Spread ½ tbsp cream cheese on one side of each crescent roll

3. Place a sausage link on the long edge of the triangle

4. In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon

5. Roll up the crescent roll and place on a greased sheet pan

6.  Sprinkle each with about ½ tsp cinnamon sugar

7. Bake at 350 for 12 minutes or until golden brown on top

8. Serve with maple syrup for dipping
