Corned Beef

Give this flavorful, Irish recipe a try for St. Patty's Day!


  • 3 pound corned beef brisket with spice packet
  • 2 carrots
  • 5 red skin potatoes
  • 1 head cabbage

  1. Place brisket and spice packet in a large stock pot with enough water to cover the brisket.
  2. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 3 to 4 hours, or until brisket is fork tender.
  3. In the last half an hour, add vegetables and continue cooking.
  4. Remove corned beef and vegetables from cooking liquid and serve.
