corned beef brisket with spice packet

carrots
5
red skin potatoes
1 head
cabbage

Directions
Place
brisket
and spice packet in a large stock pot with enough water to cover the brisket.
Bring to a boil, then simmer for 3 to 4 hours, or until brisket is fork tender.
In the last half an hour, add vegetables and continue cooking.
Remove corned beef and vegetables from cooking liquid and serve.
