  • 1 (12 ounce) can tuna in water, drained
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 Tbsp green onion, sliced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs, divided
  • 1/2 tsp italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper, optional

These crispy baked tuna cakes make great sandwich patties or a lunch protein option. With the crunch from the panko and Fareway's savory spice mix, it doesn't get much better! 


Combine tuna, egg, green onion, mayonnaise, mustard, ¼ cup panko bread crumbs, Italian seasoning, lemon juice, salt, pepper, garlic powder and cayenne pepper.

Form into 8 patties.

Coat patties in remaining panko bread crumbs then refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Bake at 375°F for 20 minutes. Serve with chili sauce or garlic aioli for dipping, if desired.
