Cranberry Orange Sauce
- 2 bags cranberries
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 cup extra fine granulated sugar or sugar substitute
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp orange zest
Cranberry sauce is a staple of midwest autumn cuisine. Toss in some spiced orange and this classic dish goes from good to great!
Place all ingredients into crockpot.
Put the lid on and cook on HIGH for 3-4 hours
Mash with a potato masher or fork until all berries are mashed. Serve warm or chill.
Keep refrigerated. Discard after one week.
