Ingredients
- 1 pizza crust, prepared according to package directions
- 1/2 pound boneless butterfly pork chops
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 sweet onion, sliced thin
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
- 4 oz block cheddar cheese, cut into cubes
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 slice bacon, crumbled
- 1 Red Delicious apple, sliced thin

Saute onions with butter, salt, pepper, thyme and brown sugar until caramelized, about half hour.

Add balsamic vinegar and stir.

Season pork chops with salt, pepper and thyme and grill until internal temperature reaches 145°F, about ten to 20 minutes.Slice pork into strips.

Brush pizza crust with oil and lightly grill until charred and bubbly.

Top pizza crust with caramelized onions, barbecue sauce, pork, cheese, green onions, bacon and apple slices.

Return to grill with the lid closed for 5 to 10 more minutes, or until cheese is melted.

Top with additional barbecue sauce, if desired.
