  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp water
  • 1/2 cup Pecan halves

Add these to a bed of baby greens with grapes and our Gorgonzola Vinaigrette for a delicious salad!


  1. Spread butter on a metal cookie sheet and set aside.

  2. In a non-stick pan, combine first set of ingredients, except for the pecans.

  3. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

  4. Stir until sugar is dissolved, about 2 minutes.

  5. Add pecan halves and stir while cooking for 1 ½ minutes.

  6. Spoon pecans onto cookie sheet and spread into one layer to let cool.
