Jenn's JalapeƱo Popper Cheese Ball

Cheese Ball

  • 16 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 C. shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 C. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 8 slices fresh jalapenos, deseeded and diced
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1 tsp. season salt
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. cumin
  • 1/2 C. pecan, finely chopped

Preparation Notes

Need extra shredded cheese for fooball lace decorations.

Directions

1. In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, half of diced jalapenos, shredded cheddar cheese, half of cooked bacon, green onions, season salt, minced garlic, cumin, and Worcestershire sauce until fully mixed.

2. In a separate bowl, combine the other half of the cooked bacon, jalapenos, and chopped pecans to make the outer coating.

3. Scoop cream cheese mixture out onto a large serving platter and form into the shape of a football. Sprinkle with the coating mixture, and lightly press the coating on as needed until cheese ball is completely covered.

4. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for at least one hour.
