  • 1 pound salmon
  • 2 lemon
  • 2 Tbsp canola oil
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 0 thyme
  • 0 rosemary

You can't go wrong with this classic lemon salmon. This recipe is great for beginners or long-time salmon lovers looking to take it back to the basics.


  1. Divide salmon into 4 portions.

  2. Season with salt, pepper, herbs, and oil.

  3. Layer lemon slices on salmon.

  4. Place salmon in a cold oven and then set the temperature to 400°F.

  5. Bake for 25 minutes.

  6. Remove salmon from oven and top with fresh lemon juice.
