Pan Seared Cod

Many home cooks have trouble perfecting their cod recipe,  this easy pan-seared cod is a great place to start. 


  • 1 pound cod loins
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil

  1. Preheat a nonstick skillet over medium heat.

  2. Season cod with salt, pepper, parsley, and lemon juice.

  3. Add oil to skillet.

  4. Cook over medium heat for approximately 8 minutes, turning halfway through, or until cod is nicely browned and flakes easily with a fork.
