Amount Per Serving: 1 loaf

  • 2 1/3 cup white flour
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup King Arthur Flax
  • 1 cup oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 can pumpkin
  • 2/3 cup water

Pumpkin bread is a classic autumn treat. This straightforward recipe is rich in fall flavor and easy to follow.

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F

  2. Combine white flour, whole wheat flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, sugar, and King Arthur® Flax in a large bowl.

  3. In a separate bowl, combine oil, eggs, pumpkin, and water.

  4. Make a well in the dry ingredients and add wet ingredients. Mix until blended.

  5. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
