Total Time: 15 minutes

  • 1 can pumpkin
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup sweet apple cider
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 3/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground clove

Use this on toast, waffles, muffins, or warm over ice cream!


  1. Combine all ingredients and stir until blended.

  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.

  3. Continue simmering, stirring frequently, until mixture thickens and mounds on a spoon.
