Directions
Preheat oven to 300.
Throw away plastic button thermometer, clean turkey and pat dry.
Combine softened butter, olive oil, 1/3 of the diced onion and spices. Rub 2/3 mixture under the skin, saving 1/3 of the mixture to spread on the back of the turkey.
Sprinkle salt and pepper inside the cavity of the turkey then add 2/3 of the diced onion, celery, cranberries, cloves, orange zest, cinnamon stick, and apple.
Secure legs and tuck the wings under the turkey. Place turkey in oven bag. Rub last of butter mixture on top of the turkey and sprinkle with paprika for color.
Close bag and place in a preheated oven. Bake until it reaches 165 degrees. Cover and let rest around 10-15 min. Carve and enjoy!
