If you're looking for cute center-pieces for your next charcuterie board, try these fruit characters! They're cute, easy to assemble, and are sure to get your guests talking!

Pineapple Gator

This little critter just wanted to crawl up on the board to say hi! He hasn’t even finished his dinner yet.

Here’s what you need to create this fun alligator:

  • 2 pineapples

  • 2 red grapes

  • 2 big radishes

  • 2 kiwis

  • toothpicks

Simply cut both pineapples in half and lay them fruit-side down on a long cutting board or table. Cut your radishes to create circles for the white part of the eyes. Using the toothpicks, secure a red grape and the turnip to the pineapple to create the eyes. For the feet, cut the kiwi in half, and then cut three notches in each half that resemble “claws”. Once you’ve done that, assemble the gator how you want to be presented.

Pro tip: make the fruit gator the centerpiece for your grazing table! Place more fruit, veggies, dips, snacks, etc. around the gator and have him be the talking point of your party!

Pineapple Owl

This owl will be a hoot for your next grazing table!

Here’s what you need:

  • 1 pineapple

  • Red grapes

  • Carrots

  • Grapefruit (optional for hat)

Start by cutting the crown off the pineapple. From there, start carving out the sockets for the owl’s eyes. Take your knife and start cutting out triangular notches in a circle. From there, you will be able to shape them to your desired size and appearance.

Take two toothpicks and stick one red grape in each socket to create the eyes. For the feet, slice the carrots lengthwise and then cut down to the desired shape (can vary for pineapple size). Then, carve out triangular notches to create the claws.

For the hat:

Cut a slice of the grapefruit out for the bottom of the hat. With the rest of the grapefruit, cut down the edges to create that rectangular shape for the top part of the hat.

Fruit Bunny

Attending an Easter party or an egg hunt? Surprise your guests with this cute and colorful Bunny Board!

Here’s what you need:

  • strawberries

  • blueberries

  • pineapple cut into chunks

  • kiwi

  • string cheese

  • Optional: raspberries, blackberries

*determine the quantity of items by how big of a bunny you are wanting to create!

Start assembling your bunny! We used the pineapple to create the bunny face, strawberries on the bottom and for the cute bunny nose, blueberries to outline the bunny and for the eyes, kiwi for the ears, and string cheese for the whiskers.

Pro tip: Cut fruit beforehand and store in refrigerator. Assemble before serving to keep fruit fresh and chilled.
