  • 1 1/2 pound crab legs
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 1 Tbsp basil
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp lemon peel


  1. Thaw crab legs, rinse, and pat dry with a paper towel.

  2. Place crab legs, cut side up, on a greased unheated rack of a broiler pan. Stir together melted butter, basil, lemon peel, and lemon juice.

  3. Brush crab legs with butter mixture.

  4. Broil 4 to 6 inches from the heat for 3 to 4 minutes or until heated through.

  5. Serve with a side of melted butter for dipping.
