Servings: Makes 4 servings

  • 1 cup low fat milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup quinoa
  • 2 cup fresh berries
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup chopped nuts
  • 4 tsp honey


  1. Combine  milk, water and quinoa in a medium saucepan.

  2. Bring to a boil over high heat.

  3. Reduce heat to medium-low;

  4. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.

  5. Turn off heat and let stand for 5 minutes.

  6. Stir in berries and cinnamon.

  7. Top with honey and nuts.
