
Bryan began his career at Fareway in 1991 at the age of 14 at store #900 in Des Moines, Iowa. He worked at Fareway throughout high school and college and upon graduation from the University of Northern Iowa with a BA in Business Management in 1999, he entered the Fareway management training program. Bryan's Fareway journey consisted of transfers to Cedar Falls, Nevada, Washington, and Charles City, IA before getting the opportunity to open store #077 in Norwalk, IA in 2007 as Grocery Manager. He managed the Norwalk location for eight years before a promotion to Regional Supervisor in 2015.
As the Regional Vice President, he oversees 23 of our retail locations in Western Iowa and Eastern Nebraska. Bryan works with a great team of Store Managers to uphold Fareway’s high standards and deliver the unique Fareway experience to our customers.
Bryan serves on the board for Easterseals Iowa as well as the Granger, IA Economic Development Association. His family also supports the CalebStrong Foundation whose mission is to provide assistance to families dealing with pediatric cancer or serious illness.
Bryan is married to his wife Laura. She is currently an elementary ELP teacher at Des Moines Public Schools. They have three children. Emma is a senior at the Iowa State University College of Design. Hailey is a sophomore at the University of Iowa with plans on entering the Iowa Nursing Program. Boden is a senior at Woodward-Granger HS with plans on entering the Civil Engineering program at Iowa State University this fall. As a family, they enjoy travelling, movies, puzzles, and playing cards. Bryan enjoys golfing, fishing, and projects around the house.
