Clint re-joined Fareway in June 2002, and currently holds the position of Vice President of Wholesale Purchasing. Clint and his team support the company with purchasing and sourcing of products sold in Fareway’s seven-state region. The team also supports promotion planning, marketing, and advertising initiatives, while coordinating with a variety of other areas across the company.
Clint’s previous experience over his 30 years in the food and grocery business include working in various roles in Fareway’s retail locations and corporate office. Prior to rejoining Fareway in 2002, Clint was product sales coordinator for Mahaska Bottling Company, where he was involved in product sourcing, transportation, and accounting.
In addition to his retail tenure, Clint holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Buena Vista University. He currently serves on the Boone High School Booster Club Board and the Sacred Heart School Endowment, and Boone Bank & Trust Co. board of directors. Previous community service includes serving Sacred Heart Church in Boone as a member of the finance council and school board member, along with participation in other community service projects.
Clint his wife, and their family reside in Boone, Iowa.
