Jeff Boggess grew up in Ogden, Iowa, and attended Ogden Schools before beginning a diverse and accomplished career spanning military service, manufacturing leadership, and facility operations.
Jeff served six years with the Iowa Army National Guard before spending two decades with Trilite Windows Manufacturing in Boone. During his time at Trilite, he advanced to General Manager, overseeing operations, team development, and process improvements.
Jeff joined Fareway in March 2009 as Assistant Maintenance Manager. His strong leadership, technical knowledge, and commitment to operational excellence led to a succession of key roles, including Maintenance Manager, Director of Facilities and Maintenance, and ultimately Vice President of Facilities & Maintenance. Throughout his Fareway career, Jeff has guided major facility initiatives, expanded maintenance capabilities, and strengthened the infrastructure that supports the company’s growing operations.
Jeff and his wife, Christal, will celebrate 35 years of marriage this September. They have two grown children—Colton (married to Whitney) and Ashton (married to Jake)—and are proud grandparents to two grandchildren: Weslyn Kathman & Trace Boggess.
Jeff and Christal reside on an acreage north of Ogden, where they enjoy the peace and pace of rural living. Outside of work, Jeff’s favorite pastime is spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, and working on anything with a motor, continuing a lifelong passion for hands-on work and the outdoors.
