Nick began his career with Fareway in 1987 as a stock clerk/carryout and has worked in 4 different retail locations as well as 16 years working for PepsiCo. He started his career in Emmetsburg and spent time in Estherville, Atlantic, and Waverly before working for PepsiCo. At PepsiCo, Nick held various roles serving retailers from grocery, drug, club, and convenience channels. Nick joined the Fareway corporate office in 2016 and have held multiple roles on the DSD team.
Nick was promoted to Vice President of Director Store Delivery in February 2025. His team supports all Fareway’s retail locations with items not delivered through the Fareway warehouse distribution system. The DSD team is responsible for coordinating and developing product selection, promotional activities, and communication between retail locations, the Fareway corporate office, and all Fareway’s valued partners.
Nick supports charities throughout Iowa including Variety, MDA, and The Ronald McDonald House. He is active in the Iowa Grocers Industry Association serving on committees.
Nick is married to his wife, Roxane, and they have one adult daughter, Becca and son-in-law, Alex. He resides in Polk City, IA. In his free time, Nick enjoys golfing, hunting, camping, watching sports, and spending time with family.
