Stephen Morgan currently holds the position of vice president (VP) – information technology (IT) operations. As VP-IT Operations, Stephen is responsible for designing and managing technology infrastructure, coordinating IT managers, vendor relationships, IT policies and strategies, and continuous improvement by facilitating collaboration with business partners to develop a technology strategy for growth.
Stephen started with Fareway in 2007 in the IT department as an application developer. Stephen worked in various roles within the IT department including application development, systems administration, database administration, and enterprise architecture over the course of his career.
Stephen received his bachelor’s degree in computer science from Iowa State University in Ames. Stephen can be seen working with charities supported by Fareway’s charitable giving efforts like Variety the Childrens Charity and the MDA.
Stephen and his wife Jen currently reside in the Des Moines metropolitan area.
