Pepsi Beverages Company partnered with Fareway Stores, Inc. to present a $5,000 donation to Variety – the Children’s Charity. Funds were raised during Pepsi’s Cases for Kids promotion held at Fareway locations.
“We’re very proud to partner with Fareway and make this donation to Variety,” said Pepsi Beverages Company GM Market Director Andy Dougherty. “We have a heartfelt commitment to improve the lives at at-risk, special needs and underprivileged children.”
Proceeds will provide funding to more than 90 charities throughout Iowa for capital projects, essential medical equipment, special programming and transportation. Variety is a 501(c3) organization, and donations are tax deductible.
