We are proud to announce that on February 11, 2015 the ribbon was cut on our 110th store in Cedar Rapids. Joined by city ambassadors, excited shoppers, and the Fareway family the ribbon was cut and the store became open for business.
The 31,000 square foot store is located in the Town and Country Shopping center at 3717 First Ave SE. The Town and Country Shopping Center is Iowa's oldest shopping center.
The store includes all of our favorite things; fresh produce, great meat selection, a bakery, organic items and everything in between. The management team includes Grocery Manager, Dan Chapman, Grocery Assistant, Austin Yarolim, Market Manager, Dustin Lechtenberg, and Market Assistant, Matt Jorgenson. This store will employee over 100 employees.
