NEWS RELEASE (February 28, 2023) – Fareway Stores, Inc. hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony today for a new store located at 9080 Mills Civic Parkway in West Des Moines. The 21,00 square foot store provides for a full-service butcher counter and the highest level of customer service. An impressive grocery selection, with fresh-cut produce, healthy varieties, and locally sourced items, in addition to a variety of craft beer, fine wines, and top-shelf spirits will be available. The store will provide for Fastlanes, a self-service checkout option, and online ordering with curbside pickup available at Shop.Fareway.com. Customers can save on their first online order by using the code, WDMFIVE, to realize a $5 discount available through March 31, 2023.

The new store will be managed by Grocery Manager Tom Bastron and Market Manager Taylor Seawel. The store is open to the public beginning Wednesday, March 1 during normal store hours of 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
