Fareway Stores, Inc. held a ribbon cutting ceremony for a new store, formerly the site of Sunshine Foods, at 720 E 1st Street in Tea, South Dakota. The 18,500 square foot Fareway store provides only the best in fresh, high quality meat, with full-service butcher counters; farm-fresh produce; low, competitive prices; and the highest level of customer service, including to-your-car carryout.
“We look forward to serving the area residents of Tea and becoming an integral part of this thriving community,” said Fareway President & CEO Reynolds W. Cramer. “We would also like to thank the Svanda family for their hard work and dedication over the last 12 years.”

The store will be managed by Grocery Manager Bryan Youngstrom and Market Manager Brett Kelley. The grand opening of the store is on Wednesday, February 27 at 7 a.m.
