Fareway Stores, Inc. held a ribbon cutting ceremony for a new store located at 500 Croell Avenue in Tiffin. The 19,000 square foot Fareway store provides only the best in fresh, high quality meat, full-service butcher counter; farm-fresh produce; low, competitive prices; and the highest level of customer service, including to-your-car carryout.

“We are excited to join this thriving community and to serve the area residents of Tiffin with great products and outstanding customer service,” said Fareway President & CEO Reynolds W. Cramer. “We would like to thank the City of Tiffin staff and all others who helped make this project possible.”

“We are excited for a local grocery store in our community, and appreciate the investment and commitment by Fareway,” said City of Tiffin Mayor Steve Berner.

“The community would like to extend a warm welcome to Fareway,” said Iowa City Area Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Kim Casko. “We appreciate Fareway’s addition to the retail landscape.”

The store will be managed by Grocery Manager Ben Meyer and Market Manager Jake Jurgens. The grand opening of the store is on Wednesday, May 22 at 7 a.m.
