NEWS RELEASE (October 28, 2020) – Fareway today held a ribbon cutting ceremony for a new store located at 1072 4th Street NE in Byron. The nearly 21,000 square foot grocery and attached liquor store provides only the best in fresh, highest quality meat; a second-to-none full-service butcher counter; farm-fresh produce; low, competitive prices; and the highest level of customer service, including to-you-car carryout. 

“Byron is a vibrant and growing community, and we look forward to serving area residents,” said Fareway President and CEO Reynolds W. Cramer. “We want to thank the outstanding city staff and community leaders for their support in making this store a reality.”

“We are thrilled Fareway is making their home in Byron. The community is looking forward to shopping locally,” said Byron City Administrator Mary Blair-Hoeft. “With the quality product and great service Fareway is known for, we know they will be successful here.”

The new store will be managed by Grocery Manager Brian Jordahl and Market Manager Chris Schwebach. The new store will be open for normal business hours of 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. beginning today.
