NEWS RELEASE (January 20, 2022) – Fareway Stores, Inc. hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony today for its Spirits & More store located at 831 Oak Avenue South in Owatonna. The more than 2,500 square foot store addition will provide for a variety of wine, craft beer, an expanded liquor selection, as well as other specialty and exclusive items.
“We are excited to open a Fareway Spirits & More store in Owatonna,” said Fareway CEO Reynolds W. Cramer. “We appreciate the efforts of everyone who have worked so hard to make this new store addition a reality.”.
“Fareway has been a great addition to our community from day one,” said City of Owatonna Mayor Tom Kuntz. “Their involvement is truly appreciated and adding the liquor store is a great addition.”

The new store addition will be managed by Owatonna Fareway Grocery Manager Matt Schilling.
