NEWS RELEASE (NORWALK, IA) – Fareway Stores, Inc. will be a host of the Meili Vodka bottle signing tour featuring Norwalk, Iowa native Jason Momoa and partner Blaine Halvorson at the Norwalk Fareway. Customers can visit the store on Monday, October 16th from 9-10:30 AM to meet Momoa and Halvorson, take photos, get autographs, and collect a specialty signature on the duo’s new vodka, Meili.
Co-founders Momoa and Halvorson are celebrating the launch of their new vodka, Meili, with a bottle tour across the country and will be stopping in his hometown, Fareway. Crafted with some of the purest natural spring water, and high-quality local Montana grains, local residents will have the opportunity to purchase a bottle of the luxury spirit and have it signed by the duo.
“From the moment we decided to embark on the Meili bottle tour, Jason had been talking about stopping in Iowa to visit his local town,” said Kevin Cooke, Chief Operating Officer at Meili Vodka. “Seeing as Iowa was a big part of Jason’s childhood, we’re thrilled to be able to share his new venture with local residents.”
Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Momoa relocated shortly after to Norwalk, Iowa, where he was raised and graduated from Norwalk High School. Following great success in the film industry, Momoa and Halvorson are thrilled to enter the Vodka industry with a product perfected over seven years.
