The Minnesota Grocers Association (MGA) presented the 2016 MGA Best in Class Award to Robert Hruska of Fareway Stores, Inc. in Stewartville
The Minnesota Grocers Association (MGA) presented the 2016 MGA Best in Class Award to Robert Hruska of Fareway Stores, Inc. in Stewartville on Tuesday April 26 at the MGA IndustryConnects Luncheon in Bloomington, MN.
The MGA Best in Class Award acknowledges the best of the best in Minnesota’s food industry. Based on his/her performance in 2015, the winner has gone above and beyond and produced results and positive growth to his/her companies through his/her direction at the store level. Nominations for the award were submitted by the MGA membership, and judged on positive sales growth through the development and execution of new programs, the ability to foster company engagement and provide opportunity for employee personal and professional development, and demonstrated community support and involvement.
Hruska is a 25 year employee of Fareway Stores, Inc. based out of Boone, IA. He is well known for his dedication, loyalty and passion for the grocery industry. Hruska has works diligently to achieve growth and stability for his 75 employees. He has an extraordinary commitment to the local community, serving on a multitude of boards and committees. Hruska is admired and well respected by all those he works with.
MGA President Jamie Pfuhl and MGA Board Chair Patrick Miner of Miner’s, Inc. presented the awards on behalf of the Minnesota Grocers Association. The award winner received a commemorative plaque in an awards ceremony at the MGA IndustryConnects Luncheon.
