Fareway Stores, Inc., in partnership with Variety-the Children’s Charity, provided a monetary donation of more than $675 to The Achievement Center in Worthington, MN. The contribution is part of a Round-Up at the Register campaign that took place in all Minnesota Fareway Stores locations.
“We are proud to partner with Variety-the Children’s Charity to donate to The Achievement Center and help further their mission to provide employment services and consultation to young persons with disabilities,” said Fareway CEO Reynolds W. Cramer./p>
“Fareway is a strong supporter and long-standing partner of Variety-the Children’s Charity,” said Sheri McMichael, Variety Executive Director. “Through this donation, we are making a difference in the lives of special needs children as they work to transition from school to the workforce.”
Proceeds were raised through donations at Fareway Stores locations in Minnesota. The Round-Up at the Register campaign allowed customers to round-up to the next dollar or provide an additional donation at the time of grocery purchase.
