Pepsi Beverages Company partnered with us today to present a $1,000 donation to Variety – the Children’s Charity. Funds were raised during the Pepsi "Iowa and Nebraska Annual Market Operating Meeting" in Kansas City during December 7-11, 2015.
“Throughout the duration of the annual meeting, attendees were allowed to wear jeans, if they donated to a local charity,” said Pepsi Beverages Company GM Market Director Andy Dougherty. “We selected Variety – the Children’s Charity, as our recipient and worked with Fareway to make today’s presentation possible.”
Proceeds will provide funding to more than 90 charities throughout Iowa and Nebraska for capital projects, essential medical equipment, special programming, and transportation.
