Perfect hard-boiled eggs in just 20 minutes. Follow these simple steps for easy-to-peel shells, tender whites, and bright yolks every time.

Hardboiled Eggs

Directions

1. In a large pot, cover eggs with about 1 inch of water. Add baking soda.

2. Turn stove on to medium-high and set a timer for 20 minutes (the water may not boil).

3. Immediately transfer eggs to an ice bath (ice + water in a bowl) and let eggs cool.

4. Voila! The perfect hardboiled eggs! Store eggs in the refrigerator, unpeeled.
